Good Food

So you missed out on signing up for our 2016 CSA, but you still want to find our veggies around town? Well, you are in luck! Raleigh’s Hillside Farm is extremely happy to have a working relationship with 4 great restaurants in Madison and the surrounding area.

We are tremendously grateful for our partnership with the Good Food food cart. We have been selling to her weekly (during the growing season) since the very beginning of our farm. Most everything that doesn’t go to our CSA goes to Melanie (chef and owner of Good Food). Good Food has two carts up on the square, year-round, rain or shine from 11am-2pm. When it’s seasonally appropriate, you can find our lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, basil, cilantro, kale, broccoli, cauliflower and winter squash at either cart (plus whatever else Chef Gina feels like!)

Cow & Quince in New Glarus opened in mid-September of 2014. They were an instant hit! Their part local foods grocery store, part farm-to-table restaurant concept is well-executed in a beautiful old general store space. The food Chef Jared whips up is absolutely incredible and we are so lucky to have many of our vegetables incorporated both into specials and the regular menu!

The legendary Dining Room at 209 Main in Monticello has been cooking up fresh food in innovate ways for almost a decade. We are so happy to be selling to such an area gem! You can find our spinach, bell peppers, poblano peppers and herbs there from time to time throughout the summer months.

On occasion, we also sell vegetables to Basset Street Brunch Club and other Food Fight restaurants.
